January Classes

Many of you have requested I offer classes and I am pleased to announce that I am offering two of the most requested topics: how to thrive as an empath and moving meditation.
Thrive as an Empath:

As the saying goes, being an empath can be both a gift and a curse but it isn’t necessarily either. If you don’t know how to wield it, it’s probably just a curse. If you do, it may well be only a gift. That is the aim of this class; to diminish the curse portion so we can begin to hone the gift. We will cover grounding, protection, learning to flow, and more through breathing, meditation, visualizations, movement, and a bit of Reiki.

Moving Meditation:
Anyone can meditate anywhere at anytime–that includes your greatest moments of stress. Meditation does not require comfy pillows in a temperature controlled room with soft lighting and singing bowls (though that is rather magical and we will do that once in class). You can meditate in the moment when you need to re-balance and be calm. Learn to get into your flow when you are struggling against the current. This technique will help you go through life with grace and ease while preventing the accumulation of stress. From beginner to master, all levels of meditation experience are welcome.

Reiki (pronounced ray-kee) is a Japanese healing art that channels energy through touch and intention. Reiki reduces tension, stress, and pain and promotes overall wellness. Reiki soothes physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual imbalances.

Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive energy healing modality. It is gentle enough to be used on infants, children, and the elderly. Reiki is used in 15% of American hospitals. For a Reiki session, clients wear comfortable clothing and either sit in a chair or lie on a massage table.
